Salvation Farms is helping ensure our farm fresh food reaches Vermonters of all income levels. For a small non-profit they make a BIG impact. Salvation Farms is playing a critical role in reducing food insecurity and improving the health of Vermonters by making fruits and vegetables more accessible and affordable.
Salvation Farms is building a systems-based approach to managing Vermont’s agricultural surplus foods in tandem with the for-profit food system. Being an organization rooted in creative resource management, our strategy to build successful and sustainable programs comes through cross-sector engagement and partnerships.
We strive to break down silos and build holistic approaches to how we can more securely feed ourselves in Vermont. We aim to utilize available resources, skills, and knowledge to create efficient practices to make our state's food system stronger and accessible to all.
