2006 Crops Gleaned and Donated with
Estimated Values
Totals and value accurately represent our 2006 produce gleaning
and donation distribution. The total value is based on averages
of wholesale and retail prices, for gleaned crop, provided by
some of Salvation Farms most engaged farms. We often glean produce
of excellent quality specifically from High Mowing Seeds’
trail garden where at least 90% of our gleanings are market
quality. Also, a high percent of the greens gleaned at Pete’s
Greens are of market quality, though the products size does
not fit the farms specialty market.Please note that some crops
are missing value estimates.
