2007 Crops Gleaned and Donated with Estimated Values

These totals and values accurately represent our 2007 produce gleaning and donation distribution. The values are averages based on wholesale and retail prices provided by some of Salvation Farms most engaged farms. We often glean produce of excellent quality specifically from High Mowing Seeds’ trail garden where at least 90% of our gleanings are market quality. Also, a high percent of the greens gleaned at Pete’s Greens are of market quality, though the products size does not fit the farms specialty market.
